Summer might be over, but that doesn't mean that our schedules and events are cooling down! See what Twinstate has planned for this month.
NYCOM Conference
Lake George, NY will be home to the NYCOM (New York State Conference of Mayors and Municipalities Officials) Conference from October 16th – 18th at the Fort William Henry Hotel and Conference Center. Here, municipality engineers, Superintendents of Public Works, and other municipality professionals come to learn about new state and federal regulations, new technologies, best practices, municipality issues, emergency response management and more. Andrea Dumas, Technical Solutions Consultant, will be representing Twinstate Technologies over the two-day event as an exhibitor.
Local Business Blood Drive
Twinstate Technologies, Taylor Rental, and local businesses are giving back to the community. We have teamed up with Taylor Rental, My Cup of Tea, Valley Vending, Rulfs Orchard, Studley Printing and Plattsburgh Brewing Company to benefit the North Country Regional Blood Center on Friday, October 20th from 11 am – 2 pm. Our blood drive will take place at Taylor Rental on Route 3 in Plattsburgh and feature speeches from the Center, Twinstate owners and Mike Mitchell, a local leukemia survivor who will share his story.
Donors will receive lunch, enjoy music, get a free beer voucher for Plattsburgh Brewing Company and also have a chance to win prizes as a ‘thank you’ for their generous donations. This event is open to the community so that anyone who is willing to donate blood will have the chance to do so. It is with efforts like this and blood donations that the Center can provide over 95% of the blood used in hospitals throughout the North Country. Interested in donating? Join us next week!
